Are then any fans of HBO's new series and sequel to Band of Brothers, The Pacific? I for one have mixed feelings about this show. It's episodes are noticeably shorter then Band of Brothers. I do like the battle scenes though.

So far I give The Pacific on a whole a 7/10.

I'm giving it the same rating for different reasons.

It's shorter because it's a bit faster paced than Band of Brothers, but unlike the latter, it doesn't build any characters at all. I still don't remember the main characters names, AT ALL. When I see them, I have a basic grasp of their personality, nothing too notable though.

Cinematography are amazing though, perfect graphics, and an overall good feel for the era. clearly demonstrates morale and historical battles. It really is a good show aside from having no attachment to any characters (aside from Lecky).

Yes, it's characters are indeed hard to tell apart.

Still watching it, and am not impressed. Still.

It's really good though, just not to the standards that Band of Brothers set. Action is alright, the scenes need a bit better work to evenly mix the action and drama.
